Differentiation Resource

During the PD at East Lansing today, we were shown this website. It has lesson plans for all grades on it and specializes in providing tiered plans, or plans that differentiate to all learners.

I thought those in upper elementary might find it especially useful :)

A learning community is a place where everyone contributes knowledge from disparate backgrounds to share with their peers. They use this shared knowledge (and shared expertise) to construct new understandings of a topic. Everyone is a learner, and everyone is a teacher.

Inclusion Conference 1/16/09

Today we had a little mini-conference on inclusion in the classroom. A few main points to take away:
